I've opened a flower shop!! Well, kind of... I have a new little adventure going on. I have set up a shop where i am selling my original paintings...not so much kid based...original acrylic paintings that have a floral theme but with the Amanda/whirleygirl twist. I have a lot of ideas in my nutty head for these paintings and will be updating weekly. Each painting is truly one-of -a-kind....each signed and named on the back by me ,the artist :)

Good News, Good news!

As some of you may have heard, the Consumer Products Safety Commission has granted a one year stay of testing and certification requirements on many items for children 12 and under, including those that are lovingly (and safely) made by hand by myself and so many other independent artists. This is good news, as it allows many to stay in business, as well as gives "the powers that be" a bit more time to come up with regulations that, dare i say, make more sense .... Not to worry, every whirleygirl designs creation meets all safety requirements and are created using ONLY non-toxic materials!!
